1. On Tuesday, Jan. 22, you will have a test on the French Revolution and Napoleon. The two essay questions from the chapters are, 1. Did the French Revolution Fail? 2. How did the political correctness movement emerge from the French occupation of Europe? Your Rojas’ art essay is due the day of the test.
2. On Thursday, Laurie Rojas will give her next art lecture.
3. On Tuesday, Feb. 19, we will take our next trip to the Art Institute.
The week of Jan. 7
CLASS ONE: we will discuss the end of the French Revolution chapter. HOMEWORK: sections 47-49
CLASS TWO: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: finish chapter 10
CLASS THREE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: prepare the two essay questions.
CLASS FOUR: we will discuss the two essay questions that students have outlined.
The week of Jan. 21
CLASS ONE: TEST ON THE FRENCH REVOLUTION AND NAPOLEON. HOMEWORK: sections 52-53
CLASS TWO; we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK FOR CLASS FOUR: 54-55
CLASS THREE: ROJAS’ LECTURE.
CLASS FOUR FOR PERIOD ONE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: finish the chapter.
