THE EYE-OPENER OF THE WEEK: Here’s the love that lies in a woman’s eyes, and lies and lies and lies.
KEY DATES:
1. On Wednesday, Steven Kaplan will speak to both classes on private equity.
2. On Friday, we will have a quiz on chapters 15 and 16. Quiz keys will be posted on Kaplan’s talk on Wednesday night.
3. On Friday, Feb. 15, we will take our Field Trip to the Board of Trade, the Federal Reserve, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
4. On Friday, Feb. 22, Ben’s dad, Randel Picker will speak to both classes.
CLASS ONE: SENIOR RETREAT.
CLASS TWO: we will discuss the second half of chapter 16.
CLASS THREE: Steven Kaplan’s talk.
CLASS FOUR: QUIZ on chapters 15 and 16. HOMEWORK: read chapter 17 up to “Philosophical Debates about Equality and Fairness.”
