KEY DATES:

1. On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Jason Tyler for Ariel Capital Management and a former Labby will speak on value investing to all three classes.

2. During the last class period of the week of Nov. 17, we will have a quiz on chapters 9 and 10 plus the two guest speakers.

3. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, your research papers are due. They should be five to six pages, be on some aspect  of the financial crisis, and have a thesis. Of course, you will have plenty of footnotes and a bibliography.

CLASS ONE: Chris Harper will lead a discussion of chapter 10 with you.

CLASS TWO: Chris Harper will discuss value investing with you.

CLASS THREE: Jason Tyler from Ariel Capital Management will speak on value investing.

CLASS FOUR: QUIZ on chapters 9 and 10 plus the two guest speakers. HOMEWORK: work on your research papers and bring material to class on Monday so you can continue to work on your papers.
