AP ECON. WEEK 16, JAN. 26, 2009

EYE-OPENER OF THE WEEK;  “The resources of nature and men’s devices,” Keynes wrote, “are just as fertile and productive as they were. The rate of our progress towards solving the material problems of life is not less rapid. KEY DATES:

1. We will have a QUIZ this Friday on chapters 17 and 18. We will probably have one question from Mr. Kole’s talk as well.

2. On Friday, Feb. 20th, we will take our FIELD TRIP to the Board of Trade and the Federal Reserve.

CLASS ONE: we will discuss chapter 17. HOMEWORK: The first half chapter 18, “Who Gets What? The Distribution of Income.”

CLASS TWO: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: finish the chapter.

CLASS THREE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: get an eye out for quiz keys.

CLASS FOUR: QUIZ  on Chapters 17 and 18. HOMEWORK: read chapter 6 in Wheelan.
