1. During the first class period of next week, you will have a quiz on chapter 11 in Wheelan and chapter 13 of Wheelan. The quiz keys are the following:1. What is Wheelan’s argument for globalization?2. What drawbacks does he see in glabalization? 3. What is the quantity theory of money and inflation? 4. What is the institutional theory of money? 4. What are the two key problems with deflation?

2. During the fourth class period of this week, your Harper project are due.

CLASS ONE: GROUP WORK on your Harper projects. HOMEWORK: the second half of chapter 13 in Colander.

CLASS TWO: we will discuss the reading.

CLASS THREE: CURRENT EVENTS DAY. WORK ON YOUR HARPER PROJECTS.

CLASS FOUR: HARPER PROJECTS ARE DUE. HOMEWORK: chapter 14 in Colander up to “Social Security, Medicare and Lockboxes.”
