Rockefeller Chapel Organ and Choral Concert
At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, a rededication concert will be given in Rockefeller chapel to celebrate the completion of a two year restoration project of the 1928 Skinner pipe organ. Two new works have been commissioned for the concert, one by William Bolcolm, the other by University of Chicago faculty composer Marta Ptaszynska. Also featured will be a performance on the newly restored carillon to be played by university carilloneur Wylie Crawford. For further information, please call 773.702.7059.
