Welcome back! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Spring Break. As we all get back into our school routines, a reminder that the fifth grade band spring concert is on Thursday, May 14, at 7:00 p.m., in Judd 126. Please note that the start time is one half-hour earlier than our concert this past January.
Home practice is essential for success on any instrument. I urge everyone to be practicing for twenty to thirty minutes per day, on the days on which band class does not meet. A good place to pick up again is our Accent on Achievement book, pages 14, 15, 16, and 17.
If you need reeds, cork grease, sticks, or other supplies, the best and easiest way to get these is through the school’s music vendor, Quinlan & Fabish. Here’s a link to their website: http://www.qandf.com/.
