For Monday, Nov. 9, finish reading the story, “Es que somos muy pobres” and write the answers the Comprensión questions at the end, on p. 133.

Also, start reviewing Lección 5 and do Exercises A-E on pp. 199-200 in the text.

There will be a quiz on usted/ustedes and nosotros commands Tuesday, Nov. 3.  Please review pp. 154-157 of the text, as well as the handout.  Here’s a link to the handout if you need one:

For Tuesday, please read the introduction to the short story the page that says “Enfoque” at the top, then read the first three pages of the story, “Es que somos muy pobres.”

For Wed. please review LET’S commands and uses of the subjunctive on pp. 158-160 and do exercises II, III and IV in the Workbook, pages 66-68.

For Friday, Oct. 23, please review the use of subjunctive  on p. 160 and write Práctica A on p. 160.

Also, remember to do the video clip activity.  See previous blog entry for links to the video and worksheet.

There will be a VOCABULARY QUIZ on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Please review all Lección 5 vocab on pp. 147-148 as well as the Palabras Problemáticas on pp. 149-50.

For Thursday, Oct. 22, review the uses of subjunctive for doubt and denial (pp. 158-90 and do Exercise B on p. 159.

The video activity will be due FRIDAY OCTOBER 23.
