Maroons Win!, Maroons Win, Maroons Win! Despite cold temperatures, the 13 mile Edens nightmare, and a delayed game due to an accident at Old Elm road, the U-High JV baseball team broke the game open with a 3-3 tie going into the top of the 7th inning. Danny Altkorn started the monster inning with a double to right which lead to a 7 run inning. Clutch hitting from Mikey Sullivan, Joel Sachnoff, and Liam Mireles helped the onslaught. Both Brian Carlisle and Hannah Solomon-Strauss came off the bench and batted runs in during critical times of the game. Defensive highlights included Matt Hannessian at 3rd base, Liam Mireles behind the plate, and Matt Soble at short stop. However, the story belongs to Jeremy Woo who pitched the whole game with a 3 hitter and 13 strike outs. Jeremy pitched one of the best games in my 11 year history - Congrats!
