The UCLS 7th grade girls soccer team played two games Monday afternoon against Francis Parker. Under cold gray skies, the girls suffered a tough 3-2 loss against Parker’s sixth grade team, with Laura Anderson and Taylor Mott tallying the goals. In their second game, the girls fell behind early to Parker’s seventh grade squad but battled back late in the game to capture a 2-2 tie, with Addie Gross and Patricia Perozo scoring their first goals of the season. The eighth graders finished the afternoon with a 1-2 loss to Parker’s eighth graders. Sarah Schacht scored the Maroons’ lone goal.

Both teams’ last game will be this afternoon at Montrose Harbor at four o’clock against Latin. Thanks to all who came to Parker yesterday to cheer the girls on!
