Gabbie Clark To Compete on Saturday

Gabbie had a long day of tennis on Friday. She started with a round of 16 match against Jasmine Minor from Mundeleine. The match was a very tense three setter that was moved indoors because of rain. Indoor scoring is No-Ad scoring, so when games reach 40-40, the next point is a [...]

State of Anticipation

In what must be something of a shocker for those elite northwest suburban tennis schools who normally dominate the State Finals Tennis tournament, three of the top four seeds in singles at this year’s State Tennis Finals are from the Independent Schools League.  Elizabeth Epstein from Francis Parker is the one seed, and our [...]

Friday Matches:
Gabbie played two more back draw matches on Friday after losing her match to Mundelein’s Jasmine Minor in the main draw.  First she played Laura Shull from Springfield.  Gabbie started slowly but recovered from an early break in the first set to win it 6-4.  In the second set she stepped up her game [...]
