Hoping to carry momentum from the Parker blowout onto RB’s turf field, the Maroons overcame a sloppy first half to pull off a dramatic win. Through a physical, but well refereed, match U-High showed a lot of heart from all positions. Almost every time a ball came to a Maroon, a crowd of RB players rapidly closed in. The boys showed great composure and found holes in a shaky opposing defense. While physicality topped skill for long periods of the match, U-High kept their heads and attempted to play their game. Able to forced RB into sporadic play, the Maroons capitalized on a few great opportunities to secure an important win against their Sectional host.
