A rain soaked field and the ISL championship on the line created an ideal foundation for a dramatic meeting with foe Latin. U-High countered Latin’s midfield play with exceptional forward and wing contributions. The wet and slippery pitch disrupted the games flow and quality of play at times, but for the most part both teams were able to play under control. U-High, however, pounced on Latin’s sloppy defending in the box and put the game out of reach with about 25 minutes left to play. Every player on the field knew what was at stake and left nothing to chance.U-High has finally solidified their position as the best team in the conference, finishing undefeated in conference play with no other ISL teams proving much of a threat.
