In what must be something of a shocker for those elite northwest suburban tennis schools who normally dominate the State Finals Tennis tournament, three of the top four seeds in singles at this year’s State Tennis Finals are from the Independent Schools League.  Elizabeth Epstein from Francis Parker is the one seed, and our own Gabbie Clark from U-High is one 2-3 seed and Annie Sullivan from Woodlands Academy is the other 2-3 seed.Gabbie takes a 22-1 record (her only loss was to Annie Sullivan) to State and is in a position to have a great state tournament.
