The Lady Maroons grabbed their biggest win of the season against the perennially formidable Illiana Christan.  The game was close most of the way though U-High held a slight edge for much of it.   Some big baskets by Alexis Jenkins and free throws by Rose Traubert forced the game to overtime where the Maroons played solid defense and were able to draw enough fouls to seal the victory on free throws.

Alexis Jenkins and Gabby Lubin lead the team in scoring with 27 and 17 points respectively.  The win, the girls’ 10th straight, improves their record to 15-1 on the season with the big showdown against Latin on Tuesday.
