Congratulations to our girls and boys varsity basketball teams on achieving
20 wins this season.

The girls are currently 22-2 and host the IHSA 3A regional championship in
Upper Kovler this week. The Maroons play Tuesday night at 8:00 and very
likely Thursday at 7:30 for the regional championship.

Special thanks to Seniors Johanna Heineman-Pieper and Alexis Jenkins for
their outstanding play this year in leading the Maroons to back-to-back 20
win seasons.

The boys defeated Robeson on Saturday to move to 20-3 for the season. The
Maroons are on a 15 game winning streak. We have 2 regular season games
remaining before we host the IHSA 3A regional March 2-3-6. We are the #1
seed in the regional and will likely face Payton Prep for the championship
on the 6th starting at 7:30 PM in Upper Kovler.

Congratulations to Seniors Tim Parsons and Zeke Upshaw for their leadership
and outstanding play for the Maroons.

Special thanks to coaches Meghan Janda, Baker Franke, Troy Caldwell and Ian
Mahoney for their fine efforts this year.
