Emily Kuo broke the outdoor long jump record which was 15-9.5 inches held by Samantha Meyer. The new mark is 15 ft 10 inches. Emily set the mark at Chicago Christian HS in Palos Hts. where she won the event.

Coed Team takes 2nd at Ridgewood Relays- It was a great night at Ridgewood despite the 45mph winds. The boys and girls combined to take 2nd place behind Montini HS  ahead of 8 other schools. Outstanding performances included Joe Hurst and Matt Fitzpatrick who ran 51.7 and 52.2 in the 400 , Robert Meyer ran 4:45 in the 1600, Leah Sibener won the 200, the coed 4 x 400 ran 3:58.5 with Joe Hurst, Emily Kuo, Matt Fitzpatrick and Leah Sibener. Caroline Bank was 2nd in the discus, The 4 x 100 coed relay of Joe Hurst, Sarah Lloyd, Matt Fitzpatrick and Leah Sibener took 1st. emily Kuo and Sarah Lloyd went 1st and 2nd in the Long Jump. emily Kuo and Emma Davis went 1st and 2nd in the 800, Aoife MacMahon won the 3200 run, Jay Sah was 3rd in the 100 hurdles, Ben B Jurisson was 3rd in the 800, Justin Algee was 2nd in the high jump.

At Homewood Flossmoor both the boys and girls had great performances. Sherry Fu and Aoife MacMahon were 5th and 6th in both the 3200  ( both clocking 12:12) and the 1600.  The boys had great performances which included Robert Meyer running 5th in the 3200 with a 10:10.
