This past Tuesday, on another cold and damp afternoon the Eighth grade Maroons defeated Morgan Park Academy 1-0.  It was a defensive game all the way,until midway in the first half when Marley Reifert scored her first goal of the season.  Thanks to the outstanding goal keeping of Taylor Mott the score remained 1-0.Taylor made key saves in recording her first shutout of the year.

The seventh grade continued their win streak as well, defeating MPA 8-0.  The team played hard throughout the match despite the difficult conditions.

The games originally scheduled for Wednesday the 29th against Hardy Prep were canceled due to weather.  The 7th and 8th grade teams faced off again in another official scrimmage on Friday, with the 7th grade earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory.  Their next game will be at home on Monday against Parker on Jackman Field–come out to cheer the teams on as they look to continue their winning streak!
