With the eighth grade gone on the Washington, D.C. trip, this Wednesday the seventh grade girls soccer team faced off against a mix of seventh and eighth graders from Morgan Park Academy.  The team fought hard from start to finish against a fast and physical opponent.  Lizzie Garrett-Currie scored two goals in the first half, and Liv Rhodes scored a beautiful one-timer goal on a corner kick to start the second half.  Morgan Park answered with a goal of their own halfway through the second half, and the game ended with a 3-1 victory for the Maroons just before the storms rolled in.  The seventh grade will look to build on their success as they travel to Lake Forest Country Day tomorrow
