The JV soccer Maroons travelled to Elmhurst with hopes of better weather against the Timothy Christian Trojans.

The Maroons got on the board quickly, when in the 8th minute, Lexie Barber finished a loose ball in front of the Trojan’s goal.

In the 28th minute, Timothy Christian equalized the score on a ball that sailed over keeper Emily Roberts‘ head.

The Maroons played great soccer and showed tremendous strength, unfortunately unable to capitalize on scoring chances in the second half.

The JV girls (3-3-2, 2-0-0) will finish their season Wednesday, May 12th at Lake Forest Academy (4:30).
