This afternoon the 7th and 8th grade girls soccer teams battled their rival, Francis Parker.  The 8th grade team fell behind one to nothing, and despite a spirited finish with several scoring opportunities in the second half, the Maroons weren’t able to pull even.  The 7th grade followed with a close-fought match with multiple lead changes.  Ellen Audrain scored in the first half, and Marina Herbst and Fiona Potter also found the back of the net in the second half to help the Maroons on to a tough 3-2 victory.  Both teams will play their last games on Wednesday on the Midway against Sacred Heart.  Thanks to all the parents who came out to watch!
