Classic Film Club

I’ve not kept up with all the cool flicks that the Classic Film Club has been watching. I know they just finished “All the President’s Men” last quarter. This quarter they will first screen “The Seven Samurai”, a Japanese classic. After that they will show “The Magnificent Seven,” which is based on “Samurai,” and compare and contrast the two. Hopefully we’ll get some podcasts up of their group discussions.
Sofia and Emily have see great attendence almost every Tuesday during 12:30 Lunch. If you haven’t made it to a screening, be sure to drop by sometime this quarter. Students usually eat their lunch in the Welcome Area in front of our super fancy Plasma TV.
