The World Language Lab (WLL) in UH207 reflects the World Language Department’s and school community’s commitment to providing 21st century instruction. It provides an ideal setting for teachers and learners to explore and optimize the role of technology in language acquisition. The instructional area of the lab features DiLL (The Digital Language Learning Lab), designed by the Multimedia Learning Center at Northwestern University to facilitate language learning in group settings.
The World Languages program at Laboratory Schools begins in the third grade and offers French, German, Spanish, Latin, and Mandarin Chinese. It is the largest department in the Schools with a faculty of 21.
