Request a DiLL UPLOAD
So you’ve created a great audio track for DiLL and now you’d like to upload it to the catalog.
Here’s how.
- Command-Tab until you have arrived at the Finder and then release.
- Command-K to connect to the file server. Paste or type in files.ucls.uchicago.edu as the Server Address.
- Select the “Projects” Server
- Open the “World Language” Folder
- Open the “DiLL Uploads” Folder
- Read the “How to Name a File for DiLL Catalog”
- Rename your audio file
- Save your audio file to the folder with the appropriate needed by date (i.e. If I planned on using an audio on October 5th, I might ask to have it uploaded to DiLL by October 3rd. I would navigate to “200710 OCTOBER” and then select “20071003″ as my destination folder.
