FYI, the IS geniuses downstairs DO NOT support A/V requests, such as projector bulbs, remote batteries, or stereo equipment. If you are working in a language classroom and something is not working, send an email to Scott Griffin at sgriffi@ucls.uchicago.edu and if needed, copy Allison. Allison does have a small inventory of white Apple remotes and a limited number of Mini-DVI connectors to hook up laptops to projectors. To order your own Mini-DVI connectors for iBooks or for MacBooks, coordinate with your fearless department chair.
